# Exfiltration

Data exfiltration involves the unauthorized transfer of sensitive information from a network to external locations or actors, posing a significant risk to the integrity and confidentiality of organizational assets. The Alert Templates packed with n.scope NDR will detect unusual traffic patterns and alert cyber security teams on them early on, so ongoing data breaches can be terminated.
